Underwater Knitting for Beginners

Always wanted to explore the world of underwater knitting? Well here’s your chance. This exciting short course is now available.

By the end of the course students will be able to:

• Understand how to knit a basic underwater knit item i.e. a woollen swimming cap or bikini
• Understand some basic knitting stiches
• Understand how to work with wet yarn
• Increase lung capacity and diving skills

This course will suit those avid adventure knitters, creative sports people, mermaids, extreme fashion designers.

Remember, this is a water activity so students must be confident in the water.

What to bring:
• swimwear/wetsuit
• towel
• water-use yarn
• water-use knitting needles
• waterproof notebook and pen
• snorkelling gear will be provided
